Guadeloupe is a territory of the northern hemisphere located in the Caribbean archipelago or Antilles.
It is made up of islands and islets, including two inhabited major islands: the Grande-Terre and the Basse-Terre forming Guadeloupe itself. Several neighbouring lands such as Marie-Galante, the archipelago of the Saintes (Terre-de-Haut and Terre-de-Bas), La Désirade and the Petite-Terre islands are linked to this magnificent territory.
